Lois Duthie of Health Canada was contacted by Ozonator Industries to review the OZONATOR technology. After reviewing the technology, she issued a “letter of no objection” indicating that Health Canada had no negative issues with the technology.

The following is an excerpt from that letter:

“Further to our phone conversation this morning, a Sterilizer for Hospital Waste is not considered to be a medical device according to the regulatory definition. Therefore, a Medical Device License is not required.”
